The storm has landed!

The first release was just two years ago, and today marks The Grove's exciting 5th release!

Bring your trees to life with mesmerizing wind animation and rich data layers. Enhance your trees in exciting new ways and have even more fun growing…

Highlight features include:

  • Wind animation, compatible with Alembic.
  • Rich data layers, both vertex groups and vertex color layers.
  • Several improvements to growth simulation, bending and automatic pruning.
  • It’s not just the trees that keep on growing – the interface is too! Release 5 has had a big cleanup to the interface and parameters, making it clearer and easier to tweak your tree.

  1. Thanks a lot for all the wonderful work and the continued improvements. I do enjoy working with the Grove since two years :)

Looking forward to buying new twigs in the future!

  2. The wind animation is amazing! You can even have the wind animation playing as you adjust the wind parameters and even as you continue to grow the trees!

  3. The website is not showing me the discount in the cart for the Grove 5. It is showing €109 at the checkout where it is supposed to calc the discount... ;-/

        • O wow, that's not good! Thanks for letting me know. I think the separate discounts don't work well together. I just made some changes and it should definitely be working fine now - I simply lowered the price of the addon for the time being. Please let me know if it's still not working for you. Thanks again for letting me know!

  4. The Grove is the sexiest Blender add-on ever created.

It's not just a great solution in naturalistic tree generation, with fantastic results that rival anything on the market.

It's also a stellar example of how a premium add-on should be well-designed, well-maintained, continually updated, well-documented, and developed with driven focus.

Kudos on all your "growth," F12.

    ;-)
