I created this - my first test in Animation Nodes - a few weeks ago and was asked to share how I did it. Being the kind, generous and modest person I am, I created this splendid overview of how I did it, which includes learning how to:
- Fill an object with other non-intersecting objects (done with rigid bodies, not Animation Nodes).
- Create 'Subprograms', a core concept of Animation Nodes.
- Animate groups of objects, giving each object some randomness.
All that learning packed into a 2093 word, hand crafted, artisanal guide, all for free. What a bargain.

Here's my first go with animation nodes.
Haven't had a lot of time to do much more, of late.
