I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Awesome!
    Couple of suggestions:
    > The ceiling lamp looks about eye level if I was to walk in the room.
    > The door textures do not look very appealing, maybe just all white paint?
    > Boy that is a lot of doors in one spot.. also one of them looks like a door to a pantry? Then it should be a pantry door.
    > The view outside the windows would look more appealing if replaced with a photo of street/building someplace pretty in London.
    > The kitchen counter should really be some type of granite, and without the 90 degree panel on the right side, just the top.
    > The window curtains look a bit dense, I would expect them to scatter the light a bit more.

I understand a lot of those things are just artist's choice or even preference, but for interior scenes you have to remember that it has to appeal to the audience as well. The audience has to feel like they want to live there. Not just "ohh, cool render", but more like "ohh, cool render, I wish THAT was my house/apartment/condo!".

Everything else looks great, maybe just a bit more furnishings and kitchen stuff (knife rack, paper towels/kitchen towels)?

    Great work!
