I’m Nick, and I have been a freelance 3D artist for over 5 years now. I learned Blender on my own and have been creating tutorials and eBooks for training purposes. I have also created a short film called “The Great Outdoors” which was all created in Blender. I also am a cinematographer and have been doing this for over 7 years, working with live production to indie short films.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at n8n.
