Nice to see/hear Blender mentioned in a recent Tested interview. Norm assumed this was from Z-Brush though it was created in Blender. Outstanding! Awesome work too!

  1. There is no question if the result can or cannot be done with Blender. The question is in how much time. That's why people use ZBrush and that's why it was assumed in the video. Let's stop jizzing pants every time Blender gets mentioned somewhere..

    • Hey, John. "Jizzing?" Really? Ignoring the unappreciated vulgarity and just addressing the underlying message, you are exaggerating (it's a tiny throw-away post) to make a point that you otherwise would not be able to make because you're on a site that's explicitly and clearly dedicated to Blender minutia.

I think you know this perfectly well but you were just in a poor mood. Chin up, chum. It'll get better, and it'll get better faster if you stop projecting negativity.

  2. The comments were never intended as a slight toward Z-Brush. It has its place but I am always glad to hear or see Blender 3D being used in the industry anywhere. I’ve used most of the heavy-hitter tools out there and would still use Blender if given the choice...but not because I don’t like them necessarily.

But I believe it to be very encouraging to discover when other artists are using Blender with fantastic results. My hats off to them.
