I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Best addon for animators.
but it will be nice to have a installation video
because i am having trouble installing "rigutils"

    • That's what I thought too, but if you are going to animate around an hour with the same character then it's probably worth the time.

  2. promising nd much needed tool. would be cool if predesigned templates would be included (for humanoid for example) Ideally with options to set some parameters (number of bones in limbs, fingers etc)

  3. Will this ever be updated? This is a must-have, the fact it's free could bring Rigify closer to feature parity with Auto Rigs.
