Hello and welcome to another issue of This Week in Blender Development! Blender is the free and opensource 3D creation suite for the next generation of artist. Follow the development on Twitter @BlenderDev.
This Week in Blender Development is openly developed on Github so please report any recommendations, bugs, or PRs there.
Remember, you can test any changes done in master or blender2.8 by going to the developmental builds download page: https://builder.blender.org/download/
As for this week, a new automatic handle algorithm to produce smooth F-Curves was added. Also this week, some new Alembic features and new/improved modeling tools. To read more about this and the other development from the past week read the full post.

Hmm, I can't seem to find the tab / place to make feature-requests for Blender on he GitHub link...
I can see your confusion, That link is for the website in general as the goal is to make it a community effort. Perhaps it would be a good idea to link to a website like https://blender.community/c/rightclickselect/ and make this more clear
