Hello guys,
in our latest video we used the "blender 2.79 fracture modifier build" to simulate a 10.000 ground pieces cracking and interacting with a giant robot Pac Man coming out from the soil.
First of all, the Fracture modifier compared to the "cell fracture" is really much faster in calculation and gives you much more options and more easy way to achieve better results.
Our limit, in this case, was that we had to export all the animation into After Effect as an .ObJ sequence. So we didn't used the particle and smoke generation that it's now possible to integrate into the simulation.
Here is our video:
Also we used Blender fracture modifier to model all the broken parts and holes that we tracked on the Hong Kong buildings. Again, was really easy and fast to get what we needed. It worked very well i have to say.
In Blender we modeled and animated also the Ghosts and our Arvade hero Pac man of course.
Hope you will like it.Greetings to all of you!
Stefano
