Hello everyone!

Today I'd like to share with you guys a brand new quick tip tutorial on Animation Nodes, and how to put it in a good use, solving common daily tasks. First tutorial in this (presumably) series will cover a creation of very simple yet effective setup for distributing objects along some segment in 3D space (.blend with final setup attached).

I hope you'll like it :)

  1. there is another way of doing it without the math .. create spline from the start to end vector and project points on this spline.. it gives you vectors where you can place your objects on.. its a bit faster ...

    • Yes, if you watched tutorial till the end, you saw I attached "bonus" subprogram, that utilise the method you described. The point of this tutorial is to give a straightforward solution which not involves aditional datablocks and data types (splines, edges, vertices, ect.) - just pure math.

      • yeah, please excuse me beeing a dick. i didnt watch to the end. you did a very well job.. first time i considered to put a separate node tree to the test after watchin this tut..
