Hey folks :)
Title says it all - my HDRI shop is no longer a shop, all the HDRIs I make are now completely free for everyone.
No accounts, no email spam, no restrictive licenses or even captcha. Just pure HDRIs ready to be downloaded. CC0 = public domain, i.e. I no longer own the HDRIs, they belong to the public.
Check out the new site here: hdrihaven.com
As always, all my HDRIs are the highest quality I can make, with unclipped dynamic range to ensure realistic lighting.

the link is not working :(
I think the site has crashed under all the attention :) I'm sure Greg is on it!
Hah yep. Trying something now, may need to upgrade the server sooner than expected :S
Wow, that's so cool!
That's great news :) thanks a lot...
Woah! Thank you!!!
Thank you! But wait, why though? I thought it may have been a pretty good business model...
A few reasons, some of which I'm not entirely sure on myself, but this post should at least explain most of it: https://blog.hdrihaven.com/2017/10/01/why-the-change/
this gif says it all:) Thank you very much Greg and you Bart for letting us know about this Unbelievable generosity!
Thanks man
Many thanks
for this contribution
Please, please, please put the Patreon link on the post. A project like this must have all the support we can give and not everybody will read the Greg's blog post.
I thought I put enough links on the website itself, but here it is anyway :) https://www.patreon.com/hdrihaven
Thanks! Super!!!!
There is nothing to express except respect.
Well said!
Most inspiring, kind and generous gesture made to the world of CG. A big thank you, Greg, for everything you do. Will definitely become a patreon in the coming days. And also give credits to you in all works done on my side, always, even if none of your HDRI is used for a particular project. Your name is now in my forever grateful people book. Please continue what you are doing, and know that you will have a place in my heart. Wishing you all the success in the world! Kindest regards, ps.
Oh thanks man. The reason I like blender is there are people who are really waiting to create free things to help other people. Great work bro. :)
Wow!...Thank you very much for this very big generosity!
A question...Am i allowed to use your amazing content in my projects?!
Of course, that's what it's for :)
