Fractals

I nice and quick introduction to fractals by Yitzilitt.

Hi!
I am a sixteen year old Blender enthusiast, and it is my custom to try to make a math video once a year (for the Breakthrough Challenge) using mostly Blender. Around 80 percent is Blender, the rest with adobe software. I hope you enjoy!

  1. Looks good, but what was Adobe used for? I or others may be able to help you find a cross-platform, FOSS alternative for next time, if you're interested.

    • Thanks!
After effects was used to make the mandelbrot set.
I know it's possible to make it in Blender, but I didn't want to burn my computer. ;)

      • A lot of people don't realize this, but rendering can be done from the command line or command prompt if you are worried about burning your computer. Try this when you get a chance: "/path/to/blender.exe --help".

For me, as a Linux user, I use "blender -b /path/to/blend/file.blend -x 1 -o /path/to/where/I/want/render -F png -f 1" to render the first frame of a .blend file as a png. I use this on older laptops sometimes. You can render multiple frames though and then put them all together, which is what a lot of animators that use Blender recommend anyway.
