  1. That is brilliant. "I think most people know this." Uh, no, I'm not sure they do. =) Thank you for sharing this, just a fantastic concept. I wonder if this could all be automated with a single new modifier, called something like the "Sticky" or "Stick to Surface" modifier, just to make this a more commonly performed task. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to simple stick one object onto another.

    • I haven't had any issues at all.

      Does anyone know if it's possible to do this with two or more objects with different materials and have the materials "bleed" to the other objects to have it be even more seamless.
