Blender 2.8 is early days yet there's a huge amount of progress already.

It's not exactly what you'd call 'production ready', but despite that I've already thrown caution to the wind and used some of it's features for a recent freelance job (delicious realtime volumetrics? - who could refuse?!)

I've put this breakdown with a whole bunch of tips and tricks to help anyone else looking at getting into 2.8 and giving it a go.

And at the very least where and how to follow along with the progress.
