Hi everyone!
In this video I give you a glimpse into the new Blender 2.8 realtime engine called “EEVEE” and a flying Trabant! This is what I got after testing it for a few hours. My conclusion: EEVEE IS AWESOME! (and will be even more awesome in the future)
Enjoy!

From what I'm seeing, EEVEE is amazing! I watched your video and it's pretty helpful, but one thing I'm not sure about; is there a way to save an animation? As in, your second video is on youtube, so though it's a realtime engine, there must be a way to output that as an image sequence etc? is that correct? Or do you have to record the real-time animation with a screen recorder or something?
Hi Luke, that is correct, you can render it as Open GL rendering and output the images as video or image sequence. I talk about that in the first video here: https://youtu.be/-mxJzQ9Jquk?t=2m19s
Oh yeah, how did I miss that bit?! Thanks! Looking forward to trying EEVEE!
Looks beautiful!
Question:
Is Eevee going to be able to display animated textures in real time? By animated, I mean image sequences. Do you know if there's any plans for this?
New trend here! Wheel time wendewing!
