I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

Images from NASA? But I cannot find any HDRIs? I wonder how he created them?
I guess there was some artistic freedome involved? (= estimated values?)

I recommend following Mark Kingsnorth's excellent tutorial on creating your own starfields/nebula directly within B3D/Cycles. My results, using the node setup/explanation, have been incredible. I tweaked settings and added nodes as I went but the results are awesome. (His work, by the way, is also incredible.)

If you're referring to Mark Kingsnorth's tutorials . . . yes! Look him up on YT. He has a great channel with very helpful video tutorials on this. I don't know him but highly recommend his tutorials. Plus there is a big sense of satisfaction when you create these yourself. It's very addicting and enjoyable.
