How to create PBR materials using the Principled Shader

0

BlenderBrit writes:

Hey guys, back with another tutorial as it's been way too long since I did one! In this one we'll be playing around with Blender 2.79's new Principled Shader.

My main aim with this one was to demonstrate how you can make use of PBR textures like the ones from Poliigon.com or Substance Painter/Designer etc with the shader as well as creating our own PBR maps from basic free textures sourced from CGTextures.com.

It's pretty long but I think a lot of you material noobies will find a lot of helpful stuff in it.

Feedback, as always, is welcomed.

Enjoy guys.
