Bart Veldhuizen
I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

awesome stuff!
Many thanks, mano, I'm happy for your comment!
Damn you good! Im barely starting and all I've done is create a robot
The secret is to focus and train every day, and whenever I can, I study Blender at 5 months every day, thank you
Don't study Blender - study design and art in general.
Blender is just the tool. Just use Blender.
You build great houses with your great imagination, fancy ideas, and lovely details and not with mathematical calculations and your cement mixer.
impressionante!
My two cents:
LOVED the boys, really captures a moment of idle play! Even the lighting is perfect.
Second penny, strictly as an observer and not a comment on the tremendous work done here:
In CG we are strive for imperfection, and yet in the real world a 'fakey' perfect scene would be considered beautiful. In other words, ultra-realistic CG may accidentally look too good!
I couldn't tell the water was actually water at first, with the gray ripples, but I can imagine it might actually look like that in real life given the angle and the lighting. Therefore, I think it could use some 'fake'-ness to make it more obviously water.
Kudos!
