Glitch Effect

In this Video we will be creating a pretty simple Glitch Effect. You can build upon this effect by adding more/different nodes but the process is quite easy to do.

By Exposing the Color Channels we can play around with them to get a fringed effect. Then, using an image (see below) we can distort the video and make it look more like a Glitch Effect.

There are lots of different styles you can achieve with this technique it all depends on what look you want to go for. If you create a cool looking glitch effect, throw a link in the comments below!..

Hopefully this helped, and thanks for watching!.

  1. Hey, Bart! Why nowadays the navigation Home is target="_Blank"? I think it should be target="_self" because it is very annoying that the site is opening all the time new useless tabs. Thank you.

    • I'm running an experiment to see if this makes people stay on the site longer, and if that in turn helps increase my ad revenue. I should know the result in a week or so.

      • The only thing that would make me stay longer on the site and see more ads would be to have more diverse quality posts/stories. I would not stay here longer even tho the site would open every time I click a punch of new tabs. I just need to close the tabs without going there, so it makes the user experience a little bit worse.
