We will continue animating our mascot, this time focusing on lip-syncing. For those of us newbs that need a bit more guidance than the average Blenderhead, seek out and study a couple tutorials on lip-syncing.
Even if you didn’t attend our previous meetings, it isn’t too late to get involved in B-PDX’s 2017 Mascot project (read “Future TotMs” here)! In fact, it may be better if you use different styles and techniques than were demonstrated. We’re looking for diversity in final mascots near the end of the year.
Besides, we can recap the basics as time allows and participants demand. Or, you can download a copy of the instructor’s rigged model ready to go for this meeting. Just join us &/or contact us at [email protected].
Even if you won’t have your own ready-to-animate mascot model by this meeting, still bring your artistic opinions and creativity to bear on the works of those who do. You may even have the time and group support to start or continue your working model during the meeting.
Also, sharing our CG projects isn’t all we do. We also share intriguing CG news, tricks, info we’ve gained over the past months. So, start noting Blender/CG-related:
- Educational Tutorials
- Useful Addons
- Enlightening News items
- Convenient hot-keys, tips, tricks, etc
- Etc, etc...
And as usual, we’ll publish on our FaceBook group and G+ event page the web address for virtual attendance about 10-15 minutes prior to the meeting.
See you there, in person or virtually!
