I've only jumped around the video, I'll watch the entire thing later - but from what I've seen, the tutorial looks sick! I've never seen that normal mapped decal method used before but it gets good results.
After all, Jerry is the master(xeon1001)!! His work is always incredible.

As soon as Blender gets either a truer quad-dominant remesh, or some form of autoretopology tools, to perhaps add with more workflow tools like these, all in a package where we can do hard-surface and sculpting in the same place, for free?
