Weekend Challenge: Particles Galore!

9

I've always loved tinkering with particles and physics, creating mesmerising shapes or motion. Rediscover the beauty of particle systems in this weekend's challenge and create some wonderful abstract art!

Rules:

  • Post your work in the comments below (yes, we have a nifty new 'attach image' option below the comments box for this!)
  • Post only new work, not existing.
  • Deadline: Monday April 24 at 23:59 (Amsterdam time)
  • Yan and I will pick the winner.
  • The winner will get a post next week, and will get to pick next weekend’s contest theme.

Have fun :)

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Hello, new here and my first try on a CG challenge of any kind, here is my humble contribution. At least I have a new wallpaper!! Hope you like it.

  2. It was so nice by Blendernation to just completely ignore this contest. I know there are no prizes and since I saw a couple of really good entries I never thought about win, but anyway it was my first time in a contest and I put my ilusion in my render. I came back every single day since I posted it just becouse of the contest result, but there is no ilusion anymore. Thank you!! :)
