No, not the yearly removal of household clutter, but an all-new whimsical animated short from Canadian storyteller DaCosta, creator of the annual March of Robots! event. Catch his robo-besties, Sunny and Gerd, in their very first adventure! Created in Blender, this is DaCosta’s directorial debut.
Sunny and Gerd is the latest project from Nimble Collective’s pilot program and Nimble is super proud to have been able to empower DaCosta’s dream of bringing these robo-besties to life.

Very nice and clean done! The characters are cute. The DOF is a slightly bit noisy, but the future denoiser will solve the problem.

Wow, thanks gang! We’re super happy everyone seems to really like the short. It was so much fun to do and we really had a great time putting Blender through its paces. It was a true learning experience. =)
