I'd suggest, to look up more refrence photos. This looks like gold-coated, rippled rubber. The textures and the rest are actually okay. Just work on the modeling of bacon.

In fact there are no textures at all. The materials are completely procedural. I did this like a year ago, but then it had too little oil in the pan, so I filled it up a bit... but did not change the bacons. I agree that there could be some adjustments as well. Perhaps in a year or so I will have release 2.0, with egg and white beans in tomatoe sauce as well :).
