Use Greg Zaal’s new HDR Sky maps to select the right time of day for your scene.

I’ve just published a new set of HDRIs that were all shot from exactly the same position on a hilltop at various times of day – this gives you another dimension of control: time.

As usual you can download them for free at 1k resolution, or buy the 16k versions with backplates to support me for $5.95 each. Since these HDRIs are obviously well-suited to go together, I’ve added an extra discount to the bundle this time ($29.95, 44% off) if you want to get them together.
