Circle, an Award-Winning Film Made With Blender

3

I just finished watching this beautiful and sad film directed by Alexander Heringer. Incase you missed it, Bart posted an article on an interview CGCookie did with them right here.

CIRCLE depicts a young woman in despair, who after experiencing a tragic loss escapes into the seemingly perfect past. She loses herself in vivid memories and starts to neglect her real life. A constant inner struggle emerges between past and present, distorting her perception of reality.

This perfectly explains the story, but leaves the tragic a mystery to the viewer. What do you guys think happened to her?

  1. Remove the "FULL" from your title... Thank you.

CIRCLE: AN AWARD WINNING SHORT FILM MADE WITH BLENDER
"Full film" was to differenciate from the trailer... Not fully made with Blender! Please
Blender was used for post prod effect and not even exclusively.

"No, we didn’t use Blender exclusively." as they say.

  2. Maybe she lost her love? Like that dude that appears in the film. And not much happens in her imaginary world either. It's bubbles all the time, beautiful as they are. And it's great in such productions Blender is a choice, not primary or the only one though.
