Blackhart Films Hardsurface Competition

Having grown so much over the last few months as a channel, I'm putting together my first official competition with prizes!

Since my audience consists mostly of Blender users and Substance users, I'll be running 2 competition categories in parallel. For Blender users, the challenge is to come up with the most complex, creative, and interesting hard-surface model you can- something technical, not organic. No texture or lighting skills are going to be required here, this is going to be all about the mesh.

The Top 3 winners in each category of the competition will be receiving a free copy of my PBR Uber Shader, the most popular PBR Shading solution on the Blender Market. Should help out with the Substance and Blender workflow!

The competition will be running from Monday March 20th until 11:59PM EST on Wednesday March 29th, giving users just over a week to submit entries. The winners will be announced either on Friday March 31st or Monday April 3rd, depending on the number of submissions I have to go through, judge, and compile an announcement video for.

To learn more, you can follow the link to the competition's landing page, and if you stop to watch the video you can skip ahead to 2:42 to get right into the details of the competition. Good luck to everyone who submits, I'm looking forward to seeing what you guy can come up with! Have a great day everybody!
