Rebellion is a Fan Film made using HitFilm. HitFilm is a compositor, visual effects generator and video editor, all in a single program. (Read below for the Blender file and tutorial)
Hitfilm explains how they export the Walker, which is made and animated in Blender, and import it in HitFilm. They are also nice enough to provide the Blend file!
You can see the Walker at the end of the Film, right when everyone was running out of the bunker. So, what do you guys think of the model, and the film? Leave your opinions in the comment section below!

that was very cool and fun to watch. nicely done, and demonstrates a lot of creativity using assets, location and actors. I LIIKE IT!
Agreed :)
hey every one , there is a good job on the film, but there is no "envirenment and spirit of starwars " in the film, well done , and good luck for next
Is this supposed to be like Han and Leia? Not even close, alas. Good job this AT-AT , though. And thank you, Blender Nation, for the WBMD Live. Looking forward to the next one.
I used to use HitFilm back in my good old very slow moving windows OS days. It's cool to know though! (Now I use Linux Mint for anyone who wants to know)
I for one, thought it was very well done. Much more creative than a lot of Star Wars fan films out there. I dthink it's just supposed to be two random rebels. I felt like it had a good heist feeling, no not traditional Star Wars, but certainly akin to Rogue One. I would have changed the editing slightly in a couple places, but I think they did a great job!
