Blender Used in Game Production of "Subliminal Realms: Call of Atis"

Pavel Shananov from the Kiev-based game studio Boolat Games writes about his use of Blender in the production of "Subliminal Realms: Call of Atis".

In february 2017 Big Fish Games released "Subliminal Realms: Call of Atis Collector's Edition" made by Boolat Games (ukranian studio located in Kiev and Poltava). In our pipeline we used Blender for V-Ray as a main tool for animation and rendering 3D characters and Blenrig as a rigging system. Majority of the smoke scenes were done with Blender except some shots that 3ds max artist made with FumeFX and for the cloths simulations we had to use Marvelous Designer.

Keeping an eye on the blender philosophy we decided to share all the characters to the community.

  1. Please how do you simulate cloth movement with a rigged character.?

    seams there are no tutorials on that anywhere. Even if there is, i havent come across any
