Gufan, the 2000-years-old Brazilian is presented with virtual reality

Gufan is a 2,000-year-old Proto-Jê indigenous. Its name comes from the Kaingang language and means "ancestor".

On January 24, his face, reconstructed from the skull, was presented at the Paranaense Museum. The participants attended two lectures, one from the archeologist who studied him and another from me, about the history of the discovery and the process of facial reconstruction, carried out in Blender.

Soon afterwards everyone had the opportunity to see the Gufan in front of them and even touch him with the help of a virtual reality glasses.

The event was a headline in the main newspapers and TV programs of Curitiba, one of the largest cities in Brazil.
