Kung Furious - Wall demolition

Stefano SottoZen writes:

Hi guys,

i just uploaded our latest Vfx short (really short) video. I used the power of Blender to simulate the main part of the video: the big wall demolition.

I shattered the textured wall in 1600 pieces, each one perfectly maintained its UV and textures and also, using the cell fracture add on, was possible to add a second material to the inside of the wall pieces. After adjusting the simulation to the result i liked much i baked all the data into animation keyframes to easily use the timeline without worrying about the cache.

A simple HDR environment illumination with a sun lamp and rendered all with Cycles, off course :)
All the other scenes was composed and edited using After Effects with Element 3D to import the 3D objects.

I am currently making a BTS/tutorial about all the aspects involved in this video, hope you like the idea.
Thanks for watching!

Stefano.
