HDRI Lighting Shortcut - New release

The new release of the HDRI Lighting Shortcut add-on is out!

What is it ?

This add-on offers a one click solution for setting up an HDRI lighting.

It gives also access to settings like :

  • the visibility of the HDRI background image
  • the ambient light strength
  • the main light (direct light) strength
  • the horizontal alignment of the HDRI image

and some correction parameters like : saturation, hue, a color wheel, exposure and blur.

Hi! I am in charge of the graphic design dpt in a University in France where I teach 3D (Blender of course). I am also a Unity3D trainer at "Les Gobelins" CG school in Paris. I was working in the game industry in a previous life (Ubisoft) and directed the post-production of TV programs in China for several years.     This looks great and I really want to use it but I am having problems getting the add-on. The _init_.py file does not do anything on my Mac.

  2. This addon looks awesome, I tried to install it but I get this notification: Upgrade to 2.8x required. I have upgraded to the latest version
