HenriMoonship created this gorgeous low poly scene and talks about how he created it.

Hi guys.

here is a small history of my work.

After several tutorials and articles about low poly I thought that I should create something by myself.
First of all I created a tower and a bit of wall. After that I started to experiment with forms and size, built a wall around future castle and added several types of towers.

Also I used a particles for spreading of huts and trees. And added several more details.

My most difficult problem was a landscape. First version was just terrible - some strange hills, a river and mountains. Next versions were not better.

After that I took a break to think about other options.

And finally I found that if I will lift level of my river I get an interesting islands. And started work in this way. I made some experiments with materials, added a few sea details, like boats and ships and I got this beautiful piece of low poly world.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
