Video: Tracking for Pac Man

10

Hehe, SottoZen always knows how to cheer me up :) Here's their latest video!

Stefano SottoZen writes:

Hello guys,

with this simple tribute to Pac Man we tested a lot of 3D tracking using Blender. We also made all the modelling and animation in Blender. I would like to prepare a little BTS about this, because after so many tracked shots i learnt a lot about tracking that maybe can be useful to others, what do you think?
Hope you will enjoy this one :)

    • Thanks man. No, the aerial shot we took it using a Phantom 4 drone. Our idea was to make the aerial shot little bit more complex but the laws are very hard about flying over city area and so we made it really fast. We was very scary about some policeman notice what we was doing that we fly filmed and landed in less than 3 minutes i think :)

      • Wow, that drone shots really, really steady. Here in Spain the laws are the same, cannot shot on populated areas or near airports, you took your risks there. Again, complimenti ;)
