Photogrammatry software reconstructs 3D objects based on photograps. It's computationally intensive (some scenes can take days to reconstruct), and not all solutions are equal. In this article, Cicero Moraes compares 7 applications with the output of a laser scanner to determine which one is the most accurate.
Hello my friends!
Photogrammetry is a 3D scanning technique from photos. We already know that the results are very similar in relation to laser scanning (we won a scientific award showing this in 2013), but the question that always appears is: which is the best software to use the technique?
With that in mind, I selected 7 different photogrammetry systems and compared the results with a laser scan.
A big hug!
Check out the output of the different applications here:

I already fixed it a few minutes ago - should be there now :)
So cool! I'd love to see a bit more about your process for capturing the images, and maybe even some of the images themselves. I've been trying to do something similar using Photoscan, and I've had trouble getting results as good as yours.
