Images: Ampersand

I always find typographical art very interesting. Sebastian Murrer has created a great collection of Ampersands, the ‘&’ symbol.

This ampersand is one of a ongoing series. I like to play with the forms of typography – especially with the ampersand sign, because they are very neutral. They connects words and are more a symbol than a type-character. By taking the basic form and adding or hiding elements, the character changes very strong, and that’s very exciting for me. I have much fun to experiment with these.
