Commercial: Carve The Mark

Peter Mattson created this gorgeous commercial for a new book.

I was commissioned by Harper Collins to create a video to promote an upcoming book. They wanted something animated rather than live action so I turned to
Blender. There was a lot of experimenting- but ultimately I had to
carve it down to a group of scenes I thought came together with a
coherent style.

Created fully in blender with some compositing in AF.

Also I made it in my basement… not sure if that matters.

I think that’s nice to know ;-)
