This is the first time I've seen a 3D printed animation. A very cool project by massey.

I recently finished a video for CaltDynamics, A new startup company in Ireland. It is for their Kickstarter video for the new L2S 3d printer. I scanned Ross once using a 3DSystems sense scanner and (heavily) cleaned it in Blender. I Rigged this model for a few key poses. I then separated the heads, torsos, arms and legs for printing to make a posable puppet. All the prints were of course done with the L2S.Blender was also used for some of the compositing and graphics. You'll see Suzanne also makes an appearance.

P.S The 'Fishinator' shown at the very end was also Sculpted in blender. As was 'Pluderbuss Pete', But I think everyone here Knows that already. Thanks to BenDansie for making that available.
