  1. I am all for having more written teaching material. And you are giving it away for free, so thank you!

But I am sorry to say this, I have seldom seen uglier pictures as a course result. I remember better pictures in 10-page long beginner tutorials 15 years ago. Who would want to learn Blender with such results? Especially after 120 pages.

Also, this is just my opinion, but I don't understand why a new user should spend time learning the outdated Blender internal renderer. This time would be better (more future proof) invested in cycles.

    • To be more constructive, some tips:
Even simple beginner models can be made to look better.
      - Change the default background, change the default lighting.
      - Add a simple ground plane to catch the shadows.
      - Turn on auto-smooth. This automatically improves the look of the models, eg. the pill, the rocket or the chair.

The PDF free guide called "Blender Course Baiscs v2.2" that have 127pages, on the BlenderCourse website that i think have here also. On some page it have some error saying how to build a 3D chair on page 67. When they say to add some curve "bezier" onto the page 67, continuing the steps by steps exercises to page 71; they say to save the blender file and name it: "bc05.03.blend". The "bezier line" is putted as some "chair foot". On page 72 they say to create some "bezier circle". On page 73 (Strange) the "bezier line", that suppose to be some (Chair foot) have some "Thickness"; but from page 71 have not indicated the (Thickness) wanted of this "bezier line" and all the steps to make as on the image on the page of 73. I have notice that the first page where there is the "Splash screen" the character image, it is writen on the "Splash Screen" that the version is: "Blender v2.71a", me and the latest peoples have "Blender v2.78c".
