PyCon is a professional conference for python programmers.
The first PyCon in Israel was held last May 2-3 (2016). It was a really great conference, with lots of fascinating, useful talks and workshops.
It also presented the audience of python coders with an introductory talk about Blender scripting, titled: "Generating, automating and processing 3D graphics with Blender's python API".
The talk was aimed at python programmers, and assumes prior knowledge of programming, but it starts with some very simple introductory examples that will be easy to replicate.
You can watch the talk on Youtube below.
The code examples discussed in the video can be found in a dedicated GitHub repository. And the slides are available in PDF here.
