The latest Blend4Web adds an improvement boost and a better viewport presentation.
We are happy to announce the new Blend4Web release!
Our quest for performance, which started in the previous month, continues. This time we worked on GPU part! So now Blend4Web is even faster. The Farm demo, our most complex app, after optimising some of its materials became 30-40% faster and now runs with ease on the middle-class smartphones!
Also we are fully prepared to the new Blender release! The viewport became way closer to how it will look on the webpage - thanks to some commits our developers worked on with Blender Team, like Environment Lighting and node Normal Mapping.
Oh, and of course - we are closer to Blender in a vector way too: now Blend4Web works solely in Blender Coordinate system!
And, as always, the release has more to look at and to read: check it out it in our Release article!

Hey, thank you so much for your kind words! We definitely will continue! :)
That's gonna be amasing)
It really is. It's SO much easier now to work with cubemaps and normalmaps x) I had hard time re-exporting while working with them before.
