    I think everyone who does product viz at some point has to do a carbon fibre model.

    The only thing I would change is to use fit curve for the third array modifier for the Fit type. It just makes things easier when changing the length.

    I think however if you'd used a 16bit texture instead of 8bit, there would be no banding whatsoever ;-)
