CG Cookie's Kent Trammell presents a videotutorial on Non Photorealistic Rendering.
Unlike most of Shader Forge lessons that focus on realism, this lesson is a departure into “NPR” (non-photo-realistic-rendering). The main benefits of this lesson:
- Creating an easy-to-customize Clip Art material could be useful for transforming your 3D models into t-shirt designs, signs, bumper stickers, decals, etc.
- This lesson also explores some unconventional nodes that will hopefully open your mind to more material construction techniques.

This was a really fun tut! I enjoy the cartoon-style and it's great the results you get right out of the viewport (and renders). I've posted some of my recent ships re-done in this style in my BlenderArtists Sketchbook.
