Blender Open Game Project: Swapper

Have you ever wanted to create a game with Blenders Game Engine? But you found it hard to understand every aspect of the game creation process? Or do you just like the idea of working on a Game Project cooperatively with many others, while also meeting new people?
Then this project might be just for you!
HOW IT STARTED
After I got a lot of great feedback on a concept Level for a game idea called “Swapper”, I decided to turn this project into an Open Project. That means that everyone can download the blendfile, add new features, create new levels and extend/change every aspect of the game.
WHAT YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE
The game is created completely in the Blender Game Engine.
After only one week there has already been a huge amount of content created for the game.
The main aspects that need work are:
- Designing Levels
- Inventing a Story
- Creating assets
- improving game mechanics and code
TEAM ORGANISATION:
The whole Project is organised over several platforms. Slack and Skype are being used as primary communication networks, as well as Whatsapp.
Additionally, updates will be posted to the blenderartists-thread
as well as a Facebook group, everyone is free to join.RULES:
We don´t have any schedules or time frames when work needs to be done, it´s just completely voluntarily and I really encourage everone to have a look at it, even if you don´t have too much time.WORKFLOW
Everyone is making changes to his own blendfile and uploads a version of his work every weekend. Then a new version will be compiled, containing all the changes that were made by everyone and this blendfile will then be uploaded once again. This will result in a tight development cycle and an easy way of finding out what works for the game and what doesn´t.HOW TO JOIN

You can download the development blendfile Ver 0.1 here.I also recommend you to check out this short video introduction, to understand the version one blendfile. This will allow you to create new content more easily.
