Hi,
this artwork called "Invert" was made with Blender and Cycles, using an addon written by professional Phyton scripter Peter Hilgers. The addon generates sets of geometry based on a mathematical 7-fold symmetry system called "Danzer Tiling". It represents three dimensional, aperiodic tilings.

The Artwork was chosen to be exposed at this years Bridges Math Art Conference in Jyväskylä, Finland. The Bridges Math Conference is the world’s largest interdisciplinary conference on mathematics and art.

The image is also available as print art on my website.
