Natcern’s textSync2D/3D is a powerful subtitling add-on for Blender

textSync2D/3D is an attempt to enhance subtitling in Blender’s video sequencer. It is a first release, open to improvements. A video explaining the basics is available here:

Blend files and the freely available code are attached. Take time to look at the ReadMe.pdf regarding the Blender versions to use and how the 2D/3D versions differ.

  • There was a small problem with the 3D version blend file (missing Scene strip)…should be corrected in the updated attachment. You can just add the Scene strip yourself in earlier downloads
