Video: TV7 Israel News Ident

Petri Rantanen created the new ident video for the Israelian TV7 News show.

As a graphics artist / video editor on the Finnish TV7 I was given the assignment of updating the graphics of TV7 Israel News.

The task included creating the title sequence (intro) and creating the graphics which appear on the screen during the program. In addition to this the news studio has 5 screens which required new video loops to correspond to style of the title sequence.

The main elements of the animation were completed in about 2 weeks but after this there was quite a bit of editing. The 3d animation was done with Blender and then edited with Premiere Pro. I used the internal renderer but also the OpenGL viewport animation for some elements. The on-screen graphics such as the anchor’s name/title were made with Photoshop and After Effects. They were then transferred to a Premiere sequence.
