  • In part three we easily create multiple versions of our tree, Texture Paint our terrain, and setup some environment lighting!
  • In part four we fill out our scene with some low poly trees! then easily create a large group of leaves to distribute across our terrain!

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Hi
Am just starting your tutorial and looking forward to it.

I went to redo it though because when I click your numbers (1,3,5) , it does not necesarly create the same perspective. No matter, unimportant.

What IS upsetting is that the enable proportional editing is not working. I had it work the fist time, no big deal . Bu the second, third and fouth time it is not. Is there a problem I am not aware of?? I replayed your video , and word for word , am doing the example excly. And now I am writing because maybe it is a common issue with a problem on blender tat others experience and I have to reinstall ?? A frustrating turnoff, and so early on.
