Hi BlenderNation,
I started using Blender way back in 2001 and spent a couple of years progressing through a bachelor’s degree in New Media Communications. In 2006 I was hired on as a Faculty Research Assistant at Oregon State University’s world-renowned College of Ocean, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences.

This demo reel contains content that has reached some interesting places. Most of my animations are used for education in university classrooms, while some is targeted towards marketing and outreach.

I’ve had animations featured in the USA on the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), the National Science Foundation (NSF), The Smithsonian museum in Washington DC, Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, Oregon, and one was even featured in a TED talk and was presented by a recipient of the MacArthur Fellowship “genius” award.
