Galactic Empire vs. Bugs in VR
Sebastian König gave me a quick demo of vrais.io on his (almost empty) phone at the Blender Conference. It’s a cool Web platform that allows artists to upload 360 VR images that can be navigated. Eisklotz created a scene where Star Wars meets Starship Troopers.
Eisklotz writes:I´m finished my first virtual reality scene for vrais.io. I´m using and old scence which I made 2 years ago for a competition, added a highres ground texture from my Seamless Texture Pack Vol.1 (it repeates 20 times is this scene) and added an explosion and some more details.
I rendered it in 4K as 360° stereoscopic. It was a lot of fun to build it and it´s awesome to watch with a Cardboard in VR. The final pic is now in the public gallery on www.vrais.io
