Video: Fossilization of a Prehistoric Skull

I've featured Soady's 'Prehistoric skull' last week. He now released a short video showing the 'fossilization' of it. After watching this fantastic video, I was wondering what would be inside the other rocks in the field...

Animation done in Blender3D. The idea was to portray a peaceful passing of time and an abstraction of fossilization. This is my very first animation short.

Soady admits this is not a scientifically accurate video:

It's definitely not how fossilization happens but it's an abstraction of it :)
